Newcastle based building surveying consultancy Harrow Consulting LLP has been accepted under the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) regulation scheme after trading for just a year.

The company had to go through a detailed process to ensure the firm’s ways of working met with the strict entry criteria, including standards of transparency, integrity, accountability and objectivity.

Founder Nick Rowling said: “The scheme sets the national standard for professional business practice in our industry and it was something we knew we wanted to achieve as soon as we could to help differentiate us from the competition.

“The scheme’s qualification process has already helped us identify new ways in which we can further improve the services we provide to them. Having the independent recognition that goes with this scheme is a real boost for our regional reputation, and we think it will play a significant role in helping to convince new clients that they should be working with us.”
